WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ- The Highlanders opened their season on a rare sunny March day, competing at the Scotland Run Shootout hosted by Arcadia University.

The Highlanders began the spring season in encouraging fashion, shooting a season low 350, highlighted by yet another top 10 performance from freshman Ryan Borrmann with a 78, as well as a solid 82 from newcomer Stephen Berger. Berger's round was good enough to place him in a tie for 16
th overall out of the 72 present in Williamstown, NJ. The Highlanders lineup was rounded out by a solid 92 from
Mike Boucher (T53), while Jared Lanchak and Nate Borrmann finished a stroke apart at 98 and 99 respectively. The Highlanders narrowly trailed CSAC opponents Cabrini University and Neumann University, as Cairn seeks to make a push for a much improved standing in the CSAC this season.

The Highlanders have a busy spring schedule with four more matches, before heading to CSAC Championships at the picturesque Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood, PA.
