CAIRN ATHLETICS HALL OF HONOR
Inductees
The Cairn University Hall of Honor was established to recognize those individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to Highlander athletics. Former athletes, coaches, and other contributors who have helped bring recognition, honor, and distinction to the University are eligible for the Hall of Honor. The inaugural class was inducted in 1982 and has expanded to 50+ distinguished members over the years. Each year, the Hall of Honor Committee votes on nominations made by the Cairn community and inducts new members into the prestigious group. Annually, new inductees are announced around Homecoming. A full list of inductees can be found here: Hall of Honor Members
The Hall of Honor was updated in 2025 with a digitized display of Hall of Honor inductees and information along with a revamp of the list of members. Thanks to Athletic Department and Advancement support, the Hall of Honor display is equipped to last through the next generation of Cairn Highlander student-athletes.Â
Nominations
The Department of Athletics encourages both alumni and those of the general public to submit names of persons who have made outstanding contributions to Cairn Athletics. Former student-athletes, coaches, staff members, and supporters of the University's athletic program are all eligible for induction. Athletes are not eligible for nomination until five years after graduation. All forms must be submitted using the form linked below in order to be considered for submission in that induction year. Those making nominations are asked to forward to the committee any available information in support of the submission.
