Honey Brook, PA – The Highlanders finished in 9th place out of 13 teams on Sunday afternoon in the Ravens Spring Invitational hosted by Rosemont College. The match took place at the Honeybrook Golf Course with a par 70 and Cairn posted a total of 374 for the round.
Adam Green led the Highlanders with a 12-over 82; tying his season-best score of 82 at the Highlander Spring Invitational at Makefield Highlands. Green's round included a +4 front-nine with one birdie and a +8 back-nine.
Cairn finished ahead of fellow CSAC competitors Rosemont College (387), Centenary Colllege (401), and Summit University (429). However, at the top of the pack for the day was another CSAC competitor in Immaculata University who posted a 307. Robbie Bray from St. Joseph's (L.I.) won the individual competition with a 73.
Mark Huseland posted a 94 for the round, followed by
David Dager with a 98,
Seth Newell with a 100, and
Craig Kikendall with a 102. Dager's score is his lowest of the season and first time under 100.
The Highlanders are next scheduled to compete in the Ursinus College Spring Invitational at the Stonewall Golf Club North in Elverson, Pa., on April 12th.
