ResultsLebanon, PA – Cairn University men's golf kicked off their 2016 spring season by competing at the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen Invitational on Monday afternoon. The Highlanders finished in 20th place for the day with a team total of 390. Moravian College won the event with a 324.
Leading the charge for the Highlanders was
Adam Green with an 89.
Mark Huseland finished with a 94 on the day to finish behind Green.
Craig Kikendall,
Connor Williams, and
David Dager all finished with scored above 100 with a 102, 105, and 107, respectively.
Taking home the individual title for the tournament was Moravian's Jim Maru who shot a +2, 74. Neumann University finished in second place overall, followed by Penn State Harrisburg and Stevenson University.
The Highlanders also competed in Lebanon Valley's invitational in the fall and finished with a score of 387.
Adam Green also led the team in that outing but finished two strokes better in Monday's competition.
Cairn will next play on Wednesday as they host their annual Highlander Invitational at Makefield Highlands in Yardley, Pa.
