Pennsauken, NJ – The Cairn University men's golf team played in their third event of the spring season this afternoon and finished in 13
th place overall. The Highlanders shot a team score of 382 at the 6,250-yard, par 70 course at the Pennsauken Country Club.
Leading the pack were the hosts, Rutgers-Camden with a team score of 314, while the individual winner was Darren Young from Morrisville State with a 75.
All of the Highlanders finished at a 90 or above on the day, with
Ian Zang leading the way with a 90.
Josiah Buss tallied a 92 and was followed by
Craig Kikendall with a 98,
Adam Green with a 102 and
Matthew Rhodes with a 104.
The Highlanders will try to improve on their scores when they travel to the Phil-Mont Country Club tomorrow, Apr. 14, for the CSAC preview day. This will be a chance for the conference schools to play on the course before the CSAC Championships take place later in the month.
