Carlisle, PA – The men's golf team played their second match of 2015 on Wednesday afternoon amidst rainy and cold conditions and improved their total score by 31 strokes. The Highlanders played at the Mayapple Golf Links hosted by Dickinson College.
 
The hosts won the match with a team score of 296, followed by Gettysburg College with a 313 and Dickinson's "White" team with a 321. Cairn came in fourth on the day with a total of 356. Individually, Dickinson's Linn Worthington finished ahead of the field with a 69 (-1).
 
Leading the Highlanders out on the course was Ian Zang with an 85 and he was followed by Josiah Buss with an 87. Adam Green played well to break into the 80's with an 89; a first for Green all year, including the fall season. Matthew Rhodes finished under 100 with a 95 and Craig Kikendall finished right on 100.
 
The Highlanders will look to continue to improve, if the weather allows, until they travel to Pennsauken, N.J., on April 13 for their next match hosted by Rutgers-Camden.
