Lebanon, PA – Cairn University men's golf competed at the Dutchmen Classic, hosted by Lebanon Valley College, on Monday afternoon and shot a 387. The Highlanders' score was good for 10th place overall out of 12 teams.
Cairn finished ahead of Alvernia University who shot a 392 at the Lebanon Country Club. The course was a par 72 at 6,272 yards. Leading the team scoring for the day was the Lebanon Valley Blue Team with a score of 312.
The Highlanders were led by
Adam Green with a 91 (+19), followed closely by
Mike Boucher with a 92 (+20).
Mark Huseland put up a score of 94 (+22) for third place on the team. Cairn was rounded out by
Ben Chapman with a 110 and
John-Michael Stafford with a 118.
Taking home the individual title for the day was Eastern's Matt Cocorikis with a score of 71 (-1).
Cairn will take one day off of competition before returning to the links on Wednesday with a round against Stockton University's club team and Rutgers-Camden University in New Jersey.
