Stevens, PA - Cairn University's men's golf team battled the Nittany Lions of Penn St.-Berks on Thursday afternoon at the Foxchase Golf Club.
Junior
Josiah Buss shot the lowest score for the Highlanders, shooting an 89(+17), but was the only Cairn golfer to crack the top five.
Penn St.-Berks claimed the top four spots in the dual-match, led by Tyler Massar's 75(+3).
As a team, the Nittany Lions bested the Highlanders by a score of 327-375.
Freshman
Chad Bass registered a 91(+19), for the second-best score for Cairn, knocking off eight strokes from his previous outing in the Messiah Falcon Classic.
Freddie Santucci turned things around on the back nine, as the second-year golfer improved his front nine 52 to a 44, to finish with a 96(+24).
