Yardley, PA - Second-year player Freddie Santucci had a career day in leading the Highlanders past the Nittany Lions of Penn St.-Abington.

Santucci birdied holes 3, 10, 16, and 17 on his way to an 80 (+8). He shared the day's best score with Penn State's Joe Shaw who also turned in an 80.

Josiah Buss finished 13 over par for the third lowest score in the dual-match, an 85. Noah Prickett and Ian Zang used their knowledge of the course to turn in scores of 88 (+16) and 89 (+17).

Cairn nudged the Nittany Lions by just five strokes, 342-347.

In a week, the Highlanders will participate in the Centenary Fall Invitational on October 16th at Panther Valley Country Club.
