Wilmington, DE - Over the weekend, the Colonial States Athletic Conference held its 2011-2012 Men's Golf Championship at the Brandywine Country Club in Wilmington, DE.

PBU's senior
Garry North (Lititz, PA / Warwick) finished the weekend t-4th place with a 158 over the two-day event. On Friday, North shot an 84 which left him tied for 13th place. Things turned around quickly for North on Saturday he shot the best round of 18 for the tournament. His 74 (+4) was unmatched and helped him jump up the individual standings to a tie for 4th place with Ryan Dreger of Neumann University.
Alex Wallis (Bath, NY / Haverling) was PBU's best golfer on day one, shooting an 81 and ending the day in sole possession of 7th place. He would finish t-20th after a 91 on Saturday dropped him down the standings.
Sam Wilcox (Falmouth, MA / Falmouth), coming off his career-best outing at the Alvernia Invitational and being named to the CSAC Honor Roll for Player of the Week last week, had a little more difficulty with the Brandywine course shooting an 88 and 87 to finish t-27th.
Alex Mitchell (Lancaster, PA / Lampeter-Strasburg) and
Josiah Buss (Rochester, NY / Hilton Central) closed out the tournament for the Crimson Eagles, finishing t-33rd and t-35th respectiveley.
As a team, PBU finished in 5th place with a combined score of 677; 344 on day one and improving to 333 on day two. The Crimson Eagles finished ahead of Cabrini College, Marywood University, Immaculata University, and Baptist Bible College. Neumann University edged out Keystone College, 649-651, to claim top honors and earn the CSAC Championship. Centenary and Rosemont College wrapped up 3rd and 4th place.
