NORRISTOWN, PA - The Crimson Eagles shot a combined 351 at the Jefferson Golf Club in Norristown, Pa in the Rosemont Invitational but it wasn't enough to top Elmira College who took first prize.
Elmira won to tournament with a team 315 score, 4 strokes better than host Rosemont.
Rosemont's Kris Keegan took top individual honors shooting a 74 (+4) for the day. Four players, including Keegan's teammate Matt Zahora, finished 4 strokes back with scores of 76.
PBU's Gary North came in at 19th with an 84. Tim Slothower was close behind with an 87. Sam Wilcox, Alex Mitchell, and Josiah Buss rounded out the Crimson Eagles day all shooting a 90.
Next Tuesday, the Crimson Eagles will take part in the Philly U Fall Classic. The Classic will be held at The Ace Club in Lafayette Hill, Pa. First tee-time is scheduled at 11am.
