ALLAMUCHY, NJ - The men's golf team finished fourth overall out of a nine team field Wednesday during the Centenary College Invitational.
The Crimson Eagles posted their second straight 350-plus outing, going for 351 at the Panther Valley Golf & Country Club to help the group finish in the middle of the pack.
Sophomore Sam Wilcox carded a team best 86 and Corey Snyder finished a stroke off Wilcox, finishing with an 87. Garry North chipped in an 88 and Jared Wilcox added a 90. Tim Slothower finished in the fifth and final spot for PBU with a score of 95.
Moravian College won the event, placing three golfers in the high 70's en route to an overall mark of 315. PBU squeaked out a one stroke edge over fifth place Farmingdale State University, who finished a single swing behind the Crimson Eagles with a 352.
The golf team will wrap up their fall season on Monday when the group takes part in Swarthmore's Fall Invitational. Tee time at the Rock Manor Golf Course in Wilmington, DE is slated for 1:00 pm.
