Director of Athletics David Babb and the Cairn University Athletic Department are proud to welcome Meghan Wilson  into the prestigious Cairn Athletics Hall of Honor, made official during the 2025 induction ceremony on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Meghan Wilson, a dynamic offensive leader for the Highlanders, left an undeniable mark on Cairn University Women's Soccer during her three seasons of play. Despite facing injuries that shortened her time on the field, Wilson's impact was immediate and lasting.

In 2016, her senior year, Wilson appeared in 14 games and led the Highlanders' offense with 12 goals and three assists, recording six consecutive games with at least one goal between September 29 and October 15. She led the team in nearly every major statistical category, goals (12), points (27), shots (73), shots on goal (40), game-winners (3), and points per game (1.93), earning Second Team All-Conference honors.

Her junior campaign was even more impressive. Starting all 17 games, Wilson tallied 18 goals and six assists for 42 points, including a hat trick against The City College of New York and a streak of nine consecutive games with at least one goal. She led the conference in total points and was tied for the lead in goals scored, ultimately being named First Team All-Conference.

Wilson's career at Cairn began explosively in 2014, when she recorded a hat trick in her debut game against Valley Forge before a season-ending injury.

Off the field, Meghan was deeply involved in service work through THRIVE, a weekly after-school program in Kensington, Philadelphia. Through THRIVE, she and other Cairn students mentored and supported 20–40 elementary and middle school students each week with snacks, homework help, and enrichment activities.

Following graduation, Wilson continued her passion for soccer and ministry. She worked as a youth soccer coach and trainer with MAX Futbol before transitioning to Missionary Athletes International (MAI Soccer), where she now serves as part of the Youth Programs team in the Philadelphia region. Her mission focuses on training and discipling youth coaches and players, helping them grow in both soccer and their faith in Christ.

Reflecting on her induction into the Hall of Honor, Wilson expressed deep gratitude and humility, acknowledging the challenges of her college career and the people who helped her overcome them:  "I felt both humbled and surprised when I learned that I would be inducted into the Hall of Honor. My experience playing soccer at Cairn University didn't go as planned, but I'm truly grateful that God placed great teammates and coaches in my life who supported me during those tough times and motivated me to come back stronger."
