LATHAM, NY - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for December 1, 2025. This week's selections included contests from Monday, November 24 through Sunday, November 30.
Cairn Women's Basketball junior forward
Emily Brittin (Winslow, NJ / Pilgrim Academy) has been named the United East Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Brittin recorded her third-straight double-double of fourteen points and fifteen rebounds along with two blocks on Monday at Penn St. Berks. She leads the conference in defensive rebounds (64) and rebounds/game (13.0) while being one point per game shy of averaging a double-double.
This is the first career Player of the Week award for Brittin.
