LATHAM, NY - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for November 24, 2025. This week's selections included contests from Monday, November 17 through Sunday, November 23.
Cairn Women's Basketball junior forward
Dezaray Bright (Keystone Heights, FL / Keystone Heights) has been named the United East Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Bright was a key defensive piece for the Highlanders this week helping the team go 1-1. She'd rack up four blocked shots, 8 steals (including a career-high 7 steals against Bryn Mawr), and 17 boards.
This is the first career Player of the Week award for Bright.
