Men’s Golf: Borrmann Finishes Tied for Fourth at Arcadia Fall Invite

LIMERICK, Pa. – The Cairn University men's golf team continued its season at the Arcadia Fall Invitational, hosted by Arcadia University at Turtle Creek Golf Course on Friday. The Highlanders finished in 14th place with a team score of 390 (+102).
 
The Highlanders were led by senior Ryan Borrmann (Warminster, PA / William Tennant), who carded a two-over par, 74 on the par-72, 6,702-yard track to finish tied for fourth place in the 70-player field. Borrmann posted four birdies on the day en route to the fourth-place finish. Coming into the clubhouse next for Cairn was graduate student Eric Jacobs (Dillsburg, PA / Northern York), who posted a round of 104 (+32) to finish solo 65th.
 
Classmate Philip Nathan (Fort Washington, PA / Upper Dublin) and senior Brad Garges (Perkasie, PA / Pennridge) each carded round of 106 (+34) to tie for 66th place, while freshman Danny Turner rounded out the day for Cairn with a round of 123 (+51).
 
Stevens Tech won the event with a team score of 301 (+13) and Stevens senior Eddie Sot claimed the individual title with a two-under par, 70.
 
Cairn will be back on the course on Monday, November 8 for its final match of the fall season when they host the Cairn Invitational at Yardley Country Club.
