Box Score Langhorne, PA- A late first half run by the Falcons of Cedar Crest College spurred them to victory over the Lady Highlanders by a score of 59-34.

The first half was an even battle between the two squads as Cedar Crest grabbed an early lead of six points, but Cairn mounted a mini-run of their own, eventually snagging the lead, 12-11, after an Amie Eppolito jumper.  The teams traded baskets for the next few minutes and the score stood at 21-16 when Cedar Crest embarked on what would prove to be a game clinching run.  The Falcons scored seven points in the last one minute of the first half, which gave them a twelve point lead that would prove too much for the Lady Highlanders to overcome.  

The Falcons carried on their momentum from the first half and when an Elizabeth Joy Hartzler three pointer ended Cedar Crest's run, the Falcons had scored fourteen straight points.  A Whitney Seidel lay up brought the Lady Highlanders as close as twelve points, but the steady play of Cedar Crest's forward Breonna Lewis kept the Falcons out in front for the remainder of the contest.  Lewis finished with 23 points and 18 rebounds for the Falcons.
