Neumann Proves Too Much For Lady Highlanders To Handle

Box Score Langhorne, PA- In today's game the Lady Highlanders fell to the Neumann University Knights by a score of 86-43.

Amie Eppolito poured in a career high twenty-six points in this afternoon's contest but it was simply not enough to cope with the high powered attack of the Knights. Neumann senior guard Erica Marvel splashed a three pointer a mere nine seconds into the game, netting an impressive one thousand points for her career. The Lady Highlanders hung tough in the early stages thanks to an impressive 6-14 shooting performance from behind the arc in the first half. Eventually though, the Knights size and athleticism was simply too much for the Lady Highlanders as they were outrebounded by a margin of 50-29 for the night.

Eppolito had a sensational performance tonight as the sophomore leader of the Lady Highlanders filled up the stat sheet to the tune of 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
