Box Score Langhorne, PA- In tonight's contest the Lady Highlanders lost to the Ravens of Rosemont College, 92-46.

Both teams came firing out of the gate as both Cairn and Rosemont managed to shoot over 40% from the field in the first half.  Sophomore Amie Eppolito was absolutely huge for the Highlanders in the first half, as the point guard either scored or assisted on every basket the Highlanders scored.  Eppolito finished with 14 points and 6 assists before the break.  Center Emily Tambussi also recorded an impressive 10 rebounds in the first frame and guard Elizabeth Joy Hartzler splashed in two three pointers on her way to 8 first half points.  

Unfortunately though, the Lady Highlanders also got themselves into foul trouble in the first half, which would hold them back in the second half.  The Ravens jumped on the Highlanders in the second half, outscoring the Lady Highlanders 43-16 after the break.  A combination of foul trouble and a smothering press by the Ravens undid the Cairn Women as they ultimately fell by a score of 92-46.
