Box Score | Game 1 (Fri., April 20)
Box Score | Game 2 (Sat., April 21)
Box Score | Game 3 (Sat., April 21)

The first game of the series was played on Friday in Gwynedd-Valley. PBU went through four different pitchers and were out-hit 20 to 2 on the day. Gwynedd-Mercy's Minnemeyer struck out 15 PBU batters, while the Crimson Eagles pitching quartet were given credit for 6 strikeouts.

The first game of the series went to Gwynedd-Mercy 23-0.

The very next day, the two teams squared off for a doubleheader in Langhorne. Not much changed from the previous day though.

In game one of the doubleheader, Jon Sanville (Duncannon, PA / Susquenita) did go 2-for-3, scoring one run and knocking in another, while Jeremy McAlack (Newtown, PA / Council Rock North) scored two runs on a 1-for-2 day at the plate. The Crimson Eagles held a 4-3 lead after the first inning, but the Griffins piled on 14 runs over the course of the next two innings, making it 17-4 at that point, to put the game out of reach. A bright spot for PBU was keeping the Griffins off the scoreboard for three consecutive innings before Gwynedd-Mercy added another 7 runs in the top of the 7th. Final score, 24-6.

Sanville, Shawn Moraca (Kerhonkson, NY / Wawarsing Christian), and Jon Moore (Shelton, CT / Shelton) each had a double.

In the latter of the doubleheader games, Jon Sanville had another 2-for-3 performance at the plate, giving him a 4-for-6 record on Saturday. Eric Hodges (Newport News, VA / Denbigh Baptist) also went 2-for-3. Mark Wasson (Willow Grove, PA / Homeschool) scored PBU's only run in a 20-1 defeat in the nightcap.

PBU falls to 5-27 overall and 1-14 in conference. They now gear up to take on Baptist Bible College in the semi-finals of the NCCAA East Region playoffs.
