Laurel, MD - After seeing it's originally schedule season opener against Cazenovia rained out, the Philadelphia Biblical University's baseball team got its season rolling with a trip through the southland.
First up was a double-header against New England College in Laurel, MD, who are making a trip through warmer climates themselves. Unfortunately for the Crimson Eagles, it was the Pilgrims of New England who were able to enjoy the weather a bit more.
The first game finished 10-1 and New England completed the sweep of the Crimson Eagles with a 5-0 win in the second match.
With the team continuing on through Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, and Georgia during the spring break.
