Marywood Grabs Two From PBU

LANGHORNE, PA - Despite finding more of a rhythm offensively on Saturday than in recent weeks, the Crimson Eagles struggled to slow down Marywood University as the Pacers recorded 10-6 and 18-4 wins over PBU.

The Pacers belted out three home runs throughout the afternoon while recording 25 total hits, completing the season sweep over the Crimson Eagles following Saturday's pair of triumphs.

Phil Haas led PBU with three hits on the afternoon while Matt Betts added two. Ryan Eshleman pounded out a three run home run during PBU's opening game loss.

PBU falls to 1-10 on the season with the pair of losses while Marywood improves to 6-11.

The baseball squad will get back into action on Tuesday, hosting Lincoln Christian University at 1:00 pm.
