LANGHORNE, PA - The baseball team couldn't quite overcome back-to-back early deficits Wednesday afternoon as visiting Maine Presque Isle held on for 12-4 and 9-8 wins over the Crimson Eagles.

The Owls built up early advantages in both games and, despite a roaring comeback bid from PBU in the second contest, Maine managed to grind out their fist two victories of the year.

The Crimson Eagles were led by Cale Reimer's three hits and five RBI's on the afternoon. Kyle Martin added two hits and a pair of ribbies.

PBU falls to 1-7 on the season while the Owls move to 2-7.

The baseball team will return to the field on Friday when the group travels north to Marywood University for a match-up with the Pacers at 3:00 pm.
