KNOXVILLE, TN - Entering Wednesday's double-header with Johnson Bible College, 680 days and 31 games separated the baseball team from the program's last victory.

But following a spirited effort from the Crimson Eagles during a midweek affair in Tennessee, the group's winless days are officially in the rearview mirror.

On the heels of a 7-4 triumph over Johnson Bible College during the first of two games Wednesday afternoon, PBU almost completed the impossible, nearly taking back-to-back outings from their NCCAA counterpart.

However, JBC managed to hold on in roller-coaster like fashion down the stretch as the host group was able to grind out a 11-10 win in the follow-up contest.
