Baseball falls short at home

LANGHORNE, PA
- The baseball team just missed pulling out their first win of the year Thursday afternoon, falling in consecutive games to Baptist Bible College 8-6 and 7-0.

After taking a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the sixth during the opening contest, the Defenders tallied four scores in the top of the seventh to go up two. Despite leaving nine runners on base Baptist held on for an 8-6 triumph.

BBC outhit PBU 10-3 in game two, breaking a 0-0 deadlock in the fourth by churning out five scores en route to their fifth win of the season.

The Crimson Eagles fall to 0-14 on the year with the pair of losses.

The baseball team will head to Neumann College next Tuesday for a match with the Knights at 3:30 pm.
