LANGHORNE, PA
- The Crimson Eagles fell just short in their first game with Keystone Saturday afternoon, falling 3-1 at home against the fifth ranked team in the country. Following the opening game scare, the Giants were back to form in game two, rolling in a 21-1 triumph.

After getting trounced by Keystone 22-0 on Friday night, PBU's Matt Betts provided by far the team's best performance on the mound this year. The 5'9 sophomore allowed just five hits and three walks for the game while allowing just two earned runs. Unfortunately the Crimson Eagles' offense manufactured just three hits and a single score in what ended up being their closest game so far this year.

In game two, the Giants would snap back into expected form as the visitors held a 23-2 edge in hits for the contest while the pitching staff struck out 15 Crimson Eagle batters. Rookie Mike Sunholm erased the shutout in the bottom of the seventh, crushing his first career home run to put PBU on the board in the loss.

The baseball team will play in their final non-conference contest this Monday, taking on Purchase College in Langhorne at 3:00 pm.
