Haverford, PA - A road upset wasn't in the Crimson Eagles' bag of tricks on April Fools day as the baseball squad fell to Haverford College 11-1 in a rain soaked affair Wednesday.
The Fords made sure to capitalize in just four and one half innings of play, producing four run innings in both the first and third stanzas to roll to their ninth win of the season. Haverford knocked around just six hits but managed 11 runs thanks, in part, to five Crimson Eagle defensive errors.
Chase Kennedy tossed three scoreless innings for the host squad, allowing a single knock during his time on the mound. PBU managed just three hits and five total runners before the game was called in the middle of the fourth.
Shawn Bramble, Mike Sundholm, and Ryan Eshleman each managed a solo hit on the afternoon.
PBU will return to action on Friday, traveling to Neumann College to take on the Knights at 3:00 pm.
