LA PLUME, PA - Down two on the road to Keystone College with just over six seconds left, the Crimson Eagles were able to get as good an opportunity as one could hope for.

Purposefully misfiring on a free throw, PBU collected the rebound off the back iron but was ultimately unable to connect on an open look three feet from the basket on the right baseline as the final seconds ticked away, erasing any hope of an all-but miraculous finish.

Keystone withstood the visitor's final punches Thursday to hang on for a 58-56 conference triumph throughout a rollercoaster evening that saw several ties and lead changes down the stretch.

The Giants had three players score in double figures and utilized 17 offensive rebounds to collect their first win of the season.

Despite connecting on eight triples for the game, the Crimson Eagles were once again shackled by the discrepancy on the boards as the host squad managed a 41-22 edge in total rebounds.

Dani Norton finished with a game high 28 points to go with seven boards and Sarah Oessenich added seven points, six rebounds, and nine dimes. Careth Herron and Lisa Garner both chipped in with nine points on the night.

The Crimson Eagles will look to get back on track this Saturday when the group hosts Gwynedd-Mercy College at 2:00 pm.
