LATHAM, NY - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for March 31, 2025. This week's selections included contests from Monday, March 24 through Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Cairn Men's Volleyball sophomore outside hitter
Sam Poirier (Nogyang, South Korea / International Christian School Uijeongbu) was named United East Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week!
Poirier set a new program record for most kills in a single game with 40 kills against St. Elizabeth on Saturday. His record was also the most kills in a game in any division of NCAA Men's Volleyball so far this season.
This is the third Player of the Week award for Poirier this season.
