Chambersburg, PA - Highlanders lose 0-3 to Wilson. 

In set one the Highlanders went back and forth trading points with Wilson (17-9 / 7-1 UNITED EAST). Midway through the game the Phoenix took control building out a 19-10 lead over Cairn (11-22 / 5-3 UNITED EAST). The Highlanders responded by rallying and winning  points in a 9 point stretch. A kill by junior outside hitter Sam Poirier (Nogyang, South Korea / International Christian School Uijeongbu) brought the Highlanders within 2 points of Wilson, but the Phoenix regained control and claimed the first set 25-22.

In the second set Wilson once again jumped out to an early lead this time leading the Highlanders 11-4. Cairn was unable to erase the deficit in the second frame and Wilson rolled to a 25-12 win.

In the 3rd set Cairn got off to a strong start including a pair of early kills by freshman Micah Taylor (Atco, NJ / Homeschool). Wilson responded by tying the score at 8-8 and then rattling off a 12-5 run to lead 20-13. The Highlanders continued to try and cut into the lead by Wilsom claimed the 3rd set 25-19 to win the match.
