LANGHORNE, PA – Cairn Men's Soccer has teamed up with Team IMPACT to welcome a new teammate, Dominick.
 
Cairn Men's Soccer Head Coach Luke Gibson and the Highlanders signed Dominick as the newest member of the team through Team IMPACT. Dominick joined teammates last Tuesday evening for his official signing to the team after getting to experience some of Cairn Men's Soccer this fall. Players and coaches were present for Andrew's official signing to be apart of the team, through Team IMPACT. 
 
"We had the awesome opportunity to get connected with Dom through Team Impact this summer," Head Coach Luke Gibson said, "throughout the fall, he was a presence at games, practices, and meals. We couldn't be more grateful to have Dom officially sign and be a member of our team. His impact on our program, and the men in it, can't be overstated."

Sophomore forward Brock Burres (Wanaque, NJ / Hawthorne Christian) mentioned, "I think I can speak for everyone on the team when I say we are hyped to have Dom on the team. Whether it is on the sideline, in practice, or eating with us, he is a joy to be around. Tuesday was a great night to officially sign Dom to the team but in our hearts he was already part of the team." Fifth year forward Geon Smallwood (Galloway, NJ / Pilgrim Academy) recalled, "Dom's commitment day was such a cool moment for all the guys and I. Seeing him truly become a huge part of the team was a highlight of the season. Dom brings a sense of joy and perspective to a season that can be me pretty tough on a team. We wouldn't trade him for anyone."
 
Team IMPACT is a national non-profit organization that has developed a unique multiyear program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country. Based on a clinical model, Team IMPACT guides a symbiotic relationship between teams and children focused on socialization, empowerment, and resilience.
