The United East Conference released their 2025 Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll where Cairn Men's Soccer was ranked fourth, receiving one first place vote. The Highlanders look to make another deep postseason run, ending the 2024 season in the semifinal round. Last season had the Highlanders in the regional rankings for two-straight weeks to end the regular season as they collected the three-seed in the inaugural non-divisional formatted playoff.
Cairn looks to build around the top returning scorers in junior forward
Alijah Miller (Monroe, NC / Homeschool) and sophomore midfielder Emanual Lazor (Midland Park, NJ / Eastern Christian), the former of which scored nine goals and seven assists in the 2024 campaign.
Xander Jakeway (Lancaster, CA / Quartz Hill) returns for his junior season in front of the net, securing four shutouts last season as he ranked third among United East goalkeepers in goals allowed last season. The Highlanders are expected to be contenders under the veteran leadership of Head Coach
Luke Gibson in his 12th season.
