GALLOWAY, NJ – The Cairn Highlanders Women's Cross Country closed out the 2024 season hosted by Stockton University for the NCAA Division III Metro Regional meet on Saturday.
 
Junior AyliGrace Munro (Bar Harbor, ME / Mount Desert Island) topped Cairn's leaderboard, crossing the finish in 127th place, at 27:18.9. Senior Erin Wilson (Southampton, PA / Calvary Christian) was not far behind Munro in 129th, finishing in 27:29.0. Right after one another were junior Morgan Steele (Bowie, MD / Estele Christian Academy) in 142nd and fifth year Addie Olsen (Lansdale, PA / Gwynedd Mercy Academy) in 143rd at 29:07.9 and 29:12.5, respectively.
 
Sophomore Casey Simpson (Ewing, NJ / Passaic County Technical) finished next, clocking in at 29.34.5 in 148th place. To close the race for the Highlanders, senior Amber Farrell (Philadelphia, PA / Franklin Towne Charter) and junior Emma Lowe (New Cumberland, PA / West Shore Christian) set their final times at 31:13.0 and 33:00.6 in 158th and 165th, respectively.
 
Wilson, Steele, Olsen, and Simpson each set new personal bests in their final race of the season as the team finished 19^th overall at the meet.
