MEDIA, PA – Women's Cross Country competed in the United East Preview Meet on Friday evening, facing a field of conference runners as the United East and guests met at Penn St. Brandywine.
 
Junior Clarisse Hayden (Bangkok, Thailand / International Community School) won the race outright, topping the podium as she finished in 24:48.72 ahead of second place by about 15 seconds. Senior AyliGrace Munro (Bar Harbor, ME / Mount Desert Island) was also in the top-10, finishing ninth at 27:19.14. Junior Clara Tylavsky (Des Moines, IA / Saydel) had her best finish so far, in 22^nd place, at 30:35.79 setting her 6K benchmark. Sophomore Madelynne Davis (Philadelphia, PA / Calvary Christian) was next in 29^th clocking in at 31:59.07 while senior Morgan Steele (Bowie, MD / Estele Christian) and sophomore Maszie Granz (Manchester, PA / Northeastern) rounded out the field in 32^nd and 45^th respectively, securing all Highlander runners a top-50 finish and the team a spot on the podium in third place.
