Best memory on the Women's Soccer team?
Tori: One of my best memories was our Pittsburgh trip to nationals after winning the CSAC Championship, where we rode the Incline (like a gondola) up to a 5star restaurant, got stuck on our bus and had to get shuttled back to the hotel, and played one of the top four teams in the NCAA National Tournament.
SJ: My favorite memory is winning the CSAC Championship for the first time in school history and going to Pittsburgh for the NCAA Tournament.
What makes your team unique?
Tori: We treat soccer as an opportunity for ministry. We do Bible studies and team bonding with each other, but we also try to serve and encourage the other teams we play against by writing cards. We write a Bible verse with an encouraging word for them, and then attach social media and try to connect and stay in contact with them.
SJ: Our team is unique in that we are very intentional in our team bonding and interactions with other teams. We write encouraging notes to our opponents and try to use every game as a ministry.
