ST. MARY'S CITY, MD – Women's Soccer dropped their conference match with the Seahawks of St. Mary's College on Saturday as the Highlanders were shutout.
St. Mary's (10-4-2 / 7-0 UNITED EAST) scored their first goal in the 20
th minute followed by another in the 23
rd. Cairn (1-10-2 / 0-5-1 UNITED EAST) managed three shots in the half, two of which were on goal but unsuccessful.
The Seahawks went up 3-0 on a penalty kick goal in the 54
th minute and added a fourth in the 69
th as they held the Highlanders without a shot for the final 45 minutes.
Cairn will head to Cedar Crest on Wednesday evening, a change from the regularly scheduled match on Tuesday.
