KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oct. 8, 2018 - The Cairn University men's soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 academic year, announced on Monday.

The Highlanders earned a team GPA of 3.29 under head coach Luke Gibson.

A total of 782 soccer teams (293 men, 489 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 academic year.

Of that total, 198 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
