LANGHORNE, PA – Men's Soccer hosted the First Round of the 2025 United East Tournament as the #7 seed with #10 Wilson College coming back to Langhorne for a rematch of the regular season. A hat trick would advance the Highlanders to the next round as Cairn won 3-1.
Cairn (5-9-3 / 3-4-1 UNITED EAST) had the first three tries at the net, connecting on the third as freshman midfielder
Nathan Babyak (Albertville, France / Mechanicsburg) found junior forward
Alijah Miller (Monroe, NC / Homeschool) after a throw in, putting the Highlanders up in the 11
th minute. The Phoenix managed their first shot a few moments later, off target. Wilson (3-9-5 / 1-4-3 UNITED EAST) managed three shots of their own before Miller got back to doing what he does best, scoring in the 35
th minute, assisted by junior forward

The Phoenix scored in the 50
th minute to cut the lead in half on their first shot of the half. As the Highlanders outshot Wilson 4-2 through the next 25 minutes, Miller netted his third goal of the night in the 76

Kaleb Demoraes (São Paulo, Brazil / Calvary Christian Academy) to Miller to make it 3-1. Wilson would manage four shots, one of which was on target, through the rest of the match as Cairn's defense held strong and with the final whistle, advances them to the Quarterfinal Round.
Miller recorded his second hat trick of the season, and second of his collegiate career, with both Babyak brothers, Burres, and Demoraes picking up a point each of assists.
Cairn will play #2 Penn St. Harrisburg in the next round on the road Saturday at 4 p.m.
