LANGHORNE, PA - With both squads entering Wednesday's matchup boasting a five game winning streak, sometime thing had to give during the Metro conference skirmish. Behind an efficient offensive attack, the Crimson Eagles survived their most recent test, gliding past Stevenson University, 3-0.
PBU handled the Mustangs by slamming their fourth highest hitting percentage of the year (.298) led by Justin Brubaker's game high 23 spikes and .476 hitting clip. Stevenson, meanwhile, came out successful on just .100 percent of their swings, a stat that marks a season low for the squad.
The Crimson Eagles ultimately came out on top by scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-19.
Setter Drew Dillon put up 33 assists and six digs in PBU's sixth straight victory while Noah Prickett added a seven kill, 10 digs effort.
The volleyball team will continue action on the road this weekend taking on Eastern Mennonite University this Saturday at noon.
