BARNSTABLE, MA - No matter what happens Sunday afternoon against Nazareth College, the men's volleyball squad forever etched their legacy in the PBU history books on Saturday, triumphing in back-to-back matches to slide into the NECVA title bout for the first time in school history.

Ranked fourth nationally, the Crimson Eagles posted a win against 10th ranked Endicott College in straight sets early Saturday afternoon, winning 30-21, 30-26, 30-25. PBU hit at a .318 clip for the game and were aided by 13 Endicott service errors to help vault the group into the semi-finals.

Cory Ermold notched eight kills while swinging at a ridiculous .889 percentage for the match. Justin Brubaker added 13 kills and 17 digs and Leo Dueck chipped in with 18 kills and 13 digs.

Facing top seeded Rivier College in the semi-finals match, the Crimson Eagles gritted out a 3-2 triumph over the Raiders, winning by scores of 24-30, 30-15, 28-30, 30-23, 15-12.

PBU tallied 22 block assists throughout the match while registering 11 services aces in the victory.

Drew Dillon notched 62 assists and Brubaker spiked home 37 kills, his second highest mark of the season. Noah Prickett added nine kills and nine digs.

The Crimson Eagles will vie for the program's first NECVA title Sunday afternoon against Nazareth College at 1:00 pm.
