Saturday Night Sweep

LANGHORNE, PA - The men's volleyball team picked up back-to-back wins against visiting CUNY-York Saturday night as the Crimson Eagles downed the Cardinals in shutout fashion.

PBU cruised during match one, winning by scores of 30-25, 30-17, 30-16. Drew Dillon posted 41 assists in the win and Justin Brubaker added 14 kills, 11 digs, and three aces. Leo Dueck chipped in 14 spikes, nine digs, and five service aces while Cory Ermold and Noah Prickett contributed six kills apiece.

Game two was a similar story as the Crimson Eagles blew past York 30-25, 30-17, 30-16. Rookie middle hitter Josh Tuttle spearheaded PBU's attack with 12 kills and classmate Ethan Mawhinney added eight kills and four block assists. Senior Jeremy Keating charted six stops defensively and Dillon posted 40 assists.

PBU improves to 6-1 on the season while CUNY-York falls to 4-3.

The Crimson Eagles will return to action on Tuesday when the group heads to Lancaster Bible College to take on the Chargers at 7:00 pm.
