LANGHORNE, PA - The men's volleyball team rebounded from back-to-back losses Thursday, cruising past Lancaster Bible College 3-1 in the Mason Activity Center. PBU won by scores of 30-11, 30-22, 24-30, 30-10.
The Crimson Eagles limited the Chargers to a -.030 attack percentage for the night and collected over 60 kills for just the second time this season while holding Lancaster to 27 spikes on the offensive end. Ten players recorded at least a single kill for PBU.
The host squad was paced by Ben Fuller's first double-double of the season as the senior outside hitter posted 12 kills , 11 digs, and three aces. Cory Ermold was a defensive stalwart, stuffing seven LBC attacks during the night to go with seven kills. Drew Dillon chipped in with 50 assists and eight digs to mark the second time this season the second year setter has dished out 50 or more helpers in a single match.
The Crimson Eagles will return to the court this weekend to compete in another all-important divisional match. PBU will head south to Virginia to take on the Royals of Eastern Mennonite University at 7:00 pm.
