PBU Topples #12 Baruch College, 3-1

It was all smiles in Langhorne Thursday evening as the Crimson Eagles pulled off their first major truimph of the season, downing Baruch in four sets.

LANGHORNE, PA - After falling in three straight, the volleyball team decided they'd had enough Thursday evening.

Playing against their third nationally ranked foe in their past three outings, the Crimson Eagles managed a 3-1 victory in the Mason Activity Center on Thursday, downing visiting Baruch College 26-30, 30-16, 30-24, 30-20.

Junior Leandro Dueck posted 18 kills and 12 digs while second-year outside hitter Justin Brubaker added 17 spikes and 13 defensive stops. Drew Dillon posted 44 assts and seven digs in PBU's first home contest of the season.

The Crimson Eagles will play in their second of four straight home contests this Saturday when the group takes on rival Eastern Mennonite University at 7:00 pm.
