LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East has announced its 2026 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners. The two All-Conference teams are each made up of three attack, three midfielders, three defenders, one short-stick midfielder, one long-stick midfielder, one face off specialist and one goalkeeper.
Freshman midfielder
Ethan Smelcer (Perry Hall, MD Concordia preparatory school) was the lone Highlander to receive All-Conference recognition. Smelcer scored 13 goals and collected 9 assists in his debut season. Smelcer's 2 best games of the season came back-to-back when he scored 3 goals and collected 2 assists against Purchase. Smelcer followed this performance up by scoring 5 goals for the Highlanders against La Roche.
