St Mary's College (2-1, 1-0 United East) showed no mercy in their scoring, getting on the board fast and hard with seven goals in the first corner, while showing solid defense by not allowing Cairn (0-1, 0-1 United East) to get a shot off.
The Seahawks added an eighth goal 2 minutes into the second quarter. Senior FO/Midfielder Adain Holliday (New York, NY / Urban Assembly Maker Academy) gave Cairn possession immediately afterwards with a face off win. The possession didn't last long as the Seahawks forced a turnover, but sophomore midfielder Joshua Wong (Newtown, PA / Homeschool) quickly regained possession. The Seahawks respond aggressively to get back to back goals within a minute to expand the lead to ten. Saint Mary's College of Maryland pushed and managed to make it 19-0 heading into halftime.
Holiday gave the Highlanders hope as he won the opening faceoff of the 3rd quarter, but the possession fell short as the Seahawks aggression caused a turnover. Converting that turnover into 3 quick goals within 3 minutes. Not letting up, the Seahawks manage to sneak 3 more past the Highlanders, making it 25-0. Cairn found their footing, keeping St Mary's out of the goal for the remaining four minutes of the quarter.

Cole Heffler (Eldersburg, MD / Central Maryland Christian) gets off Cairn's first shot of the game. The Seahawks find the net one more time to make the final score 27-0. Handing the Highlanders their first loss of the season.
