Grantham, PA - Cairn couldn't get going in season opener losing to Messiah 3-0.

Cairn (0-2 / 0-0 UNITED EAST) struggled to fine any momentum in their season opener on the road against Messiah. A pair of freshman opposites Nehemiah Clark (Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea Ukarumpa International School) and Justin Panaia (Jamison, PA Dock Mennonite) collected their first career kills and blocks in the 3-set loss to Messiah. 

Junior outside hitter Sam Poirer (Nogyang, South Korea International Christian School Uijeongbu) lead the team in both kills and digs. 

Cairn's next match took place directly after the loss to Messiah when they played Grove City as the second half of their tri-match.
