LANGHORNE, PA – On Homecoming Weekend at the Stillman Athletic Complex, Cairn University Women's Soccer hosted a tough Penn College squad. Backed by a strong start and relentless offense, the Wildcats earned a 3–0 victory to remain unbeaten on the season.
Penn College (8-0-1 / 1-0 UNITED EAST) wasted no time getting on the board, striking in just the 4th minute. After halftime, the Wildcats extended their lead in the 59th minute and again in the 77th minute for a 3-0 lead. The Wildcat defense held strong, securing the result for Penn College.
The Wildcats dominated statistically, recording 30 total shots with 10 on goal and 17 corner kicks. Cairn (1-6-1 / 0-1 UNITED EAST) struggled to create chances offensively and finished without a shot.
Cairn will regroup and host Medgar Evers on Wednesday night at 5 p.m.
