LANGHORNE, PA – Effective July 17, 2025, Cairn University Director of Athletics David Babb has named Joshua Knight the Highlanders' next Head Baseball Coach in addition to Coordinator of Equipment, Facilities, and Event Management.
Knight comes across the field to the Highlander dugout after a playing & coaching career at Clarks Summit University we he led the program from 2022-2024, bringing in the Defenders' largest recruiting class in the program's final season. Knight then took his talents to Susquehanna University where he served as an Assistant Coach, overseeing the infield while assisting with hitting and coaching first base.
The Danville, PA native played baseball collegiately at Clarks Summit University for four seasons where was a two-time All-Conference selection, compiling a .303 batting average. Knight earned Clarks Summit's Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Award at the conclusion of his career in addition to a bachelors degree in Sports Management.
In his role within the athletic department, Knight will oversee Cairn's athletic facilities in addition to assisting to lead the Gameday Operations staff.
