LANGHORNE, PA - Director of Athletics David Babb and the Cairn University Athletic Department have announced the addition of alumnus Jacob Gossel '25 to fill the position of Director of Athletic Communications & Marketing. 

Gossel takes the reins of the Athletic Communications Office from Jarrett Johnson '23, who will step down effective December 31, 2025, with Gossel starting in the new year. 

Gossel graduated from Cairn University this fall with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Sports Management. During his time at Cairn, Jacob was a student-athlete in men's tennis for three and a half years, serving as team captain during his half of his junior season and full senior season. He's previously worked as an intern in the Philadelphia Phillies ticketing office as well as a marketing database intern with the Pop Warner Little Scholars.

Gossel remains in the area with his wife, Josie, and will officially assume the position of Director of Athletic Communications and Marketing on January 1, 2026.
