LANGHORNE, PA – Cairn University Men's Basketball was voted fifth in the 2025 Preseason Coaches Poll as the Highlanders' season gets underway on Friday at Penn St. Brandywine.
The United East Conference released their 2025 Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday which had Cairn Men's Basketball slated fifth among the conference field of 14.
The Highlanders look for key performances out of returning graduate guards
Corey Baldwin (Henderson, NC / Averett) and
Jaylon Simpson (Atlanta, GA / Belmont Abbey) as well as new faces in
Ronald Ayers (Prince George's County, MD / Stevenson),
Chris Hill (Charlotte, NC / St. Augustine's University), and
Byron Gaskins (Woodbridge, VA / Carlow). The Highlanders reached the United East Quarterfinal round last season going 13-14 overall and 9-7 in conference play under new 12th year Head Coach
Jason O'Connell.
Cairn Men's Basketball gets their season underway on Friday evening, at Penn St. Brandywine for a non-conference bout at 7 p.m.
